Virtual Music live series #001

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, musician life are affected by not having live show, live gigs, live performance in this period, definitely not in this short period time, we hope you all can help us up in this coming concerts, and also helps the arts, music and culture industry and keep our musician motivated, by just donating as little amount as $1 you be able to help us to make this concerts happen, especially during this Covid-19 outbreak period, due to the budgeting problem on most of our equipment eg. the software, live streaming equipment, instrument, cables etc, and also the rental fees and utilities fees, we had decided to build up a fundraising campaign by using this platform of www.gogetfunding.com.

as this fundraising we will separate it to 2 funds, 30% will donate to Covid-19 to help on the medical fund and medical material fund. and the remaining fund will be cover for all the expenses that we going to use for the upcoming concert. I hope you can help us up, and keep the arts and culture sustain In future.

Adam Tan is a marimbist, educator, composer, and content creator from Perth, Western Australia. Adam is most known for being a YouTube content creator on THE STUDIO, a YouTube show uploading weekly episodes about various topics of percussion, such as gear, technique and tutorials. With over 2 million views worldwide, THE STUDIO continues to reach thousands of percussionists globally. As a composer, Adam's works for percussion appear in repertoire lists in schools, competitions and festivals, including the UIL Texas Prescribed Music List (PML). Adam's music is both released independently and also published and distributed internationally by Edition Svitzer in Denmark. Adam has performed and presented internationally in Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan and the United States. Highlights include performances at the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC), inc. percussion days in Sagamiko, PAS Hong Kong Days of Percussion, Oh! Asian Percussionists Series in Hong Kong, Malaysia Percussion Festival, Chosen Vale Percussion Seminar (USA), Australian Percussion Gathering, Australian Marimba Competition, and masterclass presentations at the National Sun Yat-Sen University, National Kaohsiung Normal University, Kaohsiung Senior High School, National Wu-Ling Senior High School, 505A Percussion Gathering (Hong Kong) and the MalletLab Summer Intensive (USA). Adam performs regularly in recital as a duo with acclaimed marimbist Therese Ng. Adam is the founder and director of Marimbafest Australia, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the promotion of percussive arts in Australia that curates the annual marimba festival and competition Marimbafest as well as other community events. Adam is also the co-director of UWA’s West Australian Youth Percussion Group (WAYPG), an extra-curricular chamber ensemble program for secondary school students. Adam holds a Master of Music (Research, Percussion) and Bachelor of Music (1st Class Hons) from the University of Western Australia Conservatorium of Music.

Kiki Tan started learning Piano at the age of 6 and Viola at 19. A Diploma in Music graduate from ASWARA (National Academy of Arts, Culture, and Heritage) in 2019. She furthers her studies at the same Academy with Degree in Composition since then. With her passion in chamber music, she actively participates in various chamber and orchestra groups, such as Friend of Strings Chamber and the klpac Orchestra.
